Renovations plans for the airport include a modern medical center with all the facilities & 24-hour medical care, transport to and from airport, pre-paid taxi, auto rickshaw services and much more. The brand new addition to the existing building includes the terminal buildings that measure up to 91,000 sq ft. New building will be easily able to handle 600 passengers at a time. By the year 2025, the airport is estimated to be handling 50 aircrafts and 14 million people on daily basis.
Location of Nagpur Airport
Nagpur Airport is to be found at a distance of 8 km from the Nagpur city center. The airport has a runway length of 10500 feet and an elevation of 1033 ft. Other airports located near the Nahpur Airport are Bhopal Airport (400 Km), Jabalpur Airport (275 Km) and Raipur Airport (300 Km).
How to reach Nagpur Airport
There are taxis, auto rickshaws, local city buses, and private cars that you can hire to reach the airport. People who want to reach the international terminal should be there at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure of flights. This will ensure they complete all the necessary verifications in time.

Currently, five domestic airlines are operating from Nagpur International Airport. These include Air-India Express (Ahmedabad, Mumbai), Indian Airlines (Delhi, Mumbai, and Raipur), IndiGo Airlines (Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and Pune), JetLite (Indore, Mumbai) and Kingfisher Airlines (Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad and Indore).
