Domestic aviation industry is ever burgeoning with the number of passengers rising every year. This was led by a revolution initiated by low cost carriers that made it possible for the middle class passengers to travel by air.
There are two types of domestic airlines in India. One is the Full Service Airline category that has all the airlines operating between the major cities of the country, and second category is of the Low cost carriers that connect the second-tier cities. The Low cost carriers (LCCs) are usually known for their cheap air tickets in India and no-frill services, but these days even some LCCs like Kingfisher Red provide free meals on-board. This revolution in the aviation industry has resulted in tremendous growth of the passenger base and hence has led to the reduction in cost due to economies of scale. Therefore anyone looking for cheap air tickets between any of the destinations in India can avail the services of any domestic airlines in India.
