Jet Airways Review

Spicejet Airline is a low fare, New Delhi based airline and is one of the newly started private airlines of India. Ajay Singh, Sanjay Malhotra and Kansangra family promoted the airline. It was formerly known as Royal Airways.

The airline has set its standard really high and strives hard to compete with AC couches of Indian railways. This speaks volumes about the cheap and economical airfares of Spice jet Airways.

The company entered into the service by offering meager INR 99 fare for the first 99 days and then it was followed by INR 999 promotional fare. With all these plans and strategies, it has climbed the ladder of success very quickly.

The company also offers spicy fares for time to time to attract budget conscious or low budget travelers. A traveler can easily book his/her flight ticket online as the flight status and flight schedules are clearly mentioned there.

I flew first time in this airline.I was going delhi -jammu, the cabin was very clean with good ambience.The flight attendents were working very professionally and they were very polite and friendly.That made me relaxed.Soon I will fly in this airline.

BOM-GOI and BOM-DEL sector. Cabin crew helpful and FA’s polite. Snacks and bottled water provided onboard. Seating was a bit cramped. Some schedules are inconvenient. You are requested not to carry the inflight magazine with you as an economy measure. Good value for money if you can manage to fly without all the attached facilities and amenities of a regular airlines.

Aman Chopra
delhi to bombay return. Flown for the first time with them and found them okay. Planes were new and clean. Both flights were on time. FAs well groomed and do a good job. Food served was not free and was more of a snack. For the fare they charge you, its a very good airline to fly with in India.

I flew in this airline on 17th to Mumbai-Delhi check-in did not take very long. Seats were pre-assigned as the flight was full.cabin clean was clean. Food for purchase was a good selection of snacks and beverage ie. sandwiches cookies muffins, tea, coffee etc.Cabin crews were very polite. Overall a good experience.

I liked the overall experience of flying with Jet Airlines. Though I wish they offered more of such services. They also need to start the frequent travelers program. I felt ok with there services and appreciate the way of being attended at the airport. Whenever I needed the help ,one or the other person was there with me to assist .I liked the indian cuisine being serviced especially the black tea.I wish to come to India once again and again travel with Air India

Keenly priced tickets. They take a practical view of baggage allowances, which is very helpful. Overhead lockers are somewhat low and can be awkward for odd-shaped carry-on bags. Fligh Attendants are very courteous. Seat pitch is unsatisfactory but for short flights this may not pose a problem.

Looks like they are falling in quality. SpiceJet used to be good but now the quality has fallen. Indigo is better but spice is better than Go air…they will also sell out like Air Deccan.

It is a national disgrace - old aircraft, tatty interiors, dreadful IFE (unless you like Bollywood), earphones socket that don’t work, and only the very newest of its fleet has screens in the back of the seat. The cabin crew are indifferent, and I have never come across an airline which allows passengers to blatantly break the rules regarding the position of seat trays/seats during take off/landing, or the use of mobile phones inflight! The ground crew at Mumbai airport are useless when delays occur and you are never given the correct information, if you get any at all!

By the way, I’m guessing this page is for spicejet. I read Shelly’s comments and doesn’t seem like its for spicejet as she is talking about in flight entertainment screens which is not there in any of spicejet’s flights as far as i remember.

Anyways, only day before I flew spicejet from Bombay to Bangalore and what i loved was the on time take off and landing. even the check in was a breeze. I’ll definitely recommend.

I agree with Jaykumar! SpiceJet offers best services that are worth the cost it charges for the tickets. Cabin crew was very helpful and Flight attendants were also polite. I was provided Snacks and bottled water on board. But I must say one thing: Seating arrangement was cramped.Why Spicejet???
