Aeroflot Airline is the largest airline in Russia. It’s headquarter is located in Moscow. It is one of the oldest airlines in the world launched in 1923. It is based on passengers carried per year and.
The airline offers domestic and international passenger services to 97 cities in 48 countries. Its main airport is Sheremetyevo International Airport.
Initially Aeroflot used to be the Soviet national airline and was the largest airline in the world during the Soviet era.

However, after the disintegration of the USSR, Aeroflot was converted from a state-run enterprise to a semi-privatized airline which ranks amongst the most cost-effective in the world.
Aeroflot is still considered the de facto national airline of Russia. The airline has undergone widespread route reformation; fleet transformation program and image revamp and joined the Sky Team in 2006, in order to meet the world standards.

Aeroflot Services:
Aeroflot also carried out other functions, including aeromedical, crop-dusting, heavy lifting for the Soviet Space Agency, offshore oil platform support, exploration for natural resources, support for construction projects, transport of military troops and supplies, atmospheric research, and remote area patrol. It used to operate hundreds of helicopters and cargo aircraft in addition to civil airliners. It also operated the Soviet equivalent of a presidential aircraft and other VIP transports of government and communist party officials. It also offered services like ice patrol in the Arctic Ocean and escorting of ships through frozen seas, oil exploration, power line surveillance, and transportation and heavy lifting support on construction projects.

Aeroflot Fleet:
It maintains a fleet of aircrafts, which  includes Airbus A319-100, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321-200, Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A350-800XWB, Airbus A350-900XWB, Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 787-8, Ilyushin Il-96-300 and  Sukhoi Superjet 100-95. The Tupolev fleet is the oldest among the aircraft in the airline.

Aeroflot airlines is serving scheduled passenger flights to 46 countries and 96 destinations; 30 scheduled flights in Russia, 2 in Africa, 6 in CIS, 38 in Europe, 10 in Asia, and 3 in North America, one in the Caribbean and 6 in Middle East. They offer business and economy flight tickets for passengers. In 1993, Aeroflot began its operation of New York route.

The silver bonus is achieved if the member has flown 25000 miles during the calendar year while the gold bonus is achieved if the member has flown 50,000 miles during the calendar year.
