Continental Airlines

Continental Airlines is a chief American airline. Its headquarters is based in Continental Center in Downtown Houston, Texas. This US based airline operator is the fourth-largest on the basis of revenue passenger miles. Flights of Continental Airline operate to destinations in U.S., Canada, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific regions. Main flights are operated from three hubs at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The origin story of this airline dates back to year 1934, when it got started as the Varney Speed Lines that served a as an airmail and passenger service in the Southwest of America. Later, it was named Continental Airlines. Continental also serves as the dominant operator at the Houston Intercontinental Airport. For its first forty years, Continental served as a domestic airline only, however, after the inclusion of Texas International routes, the airline served more flights to Mexican destinations than any other US based airline operator would have.

Continental Airlines Fleet:
Continental's fleet consists of four types of Boeing (737, 757, 767, and 777) in ten variants. Other than these, there are two variants of the Boeing 787 in the pipeline. Aircrafts included in the Continental fleet are Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-900, Boeing 737-500, Boeing 767-200ER, Boeing 767-400ER, Boeing 737-900ER, Boeing 757-200 and Boeing 757-300.

Continental Airlines Destinations:
Continental airlines offer around 2400 daily departures to the cities in Europe, Americas and Asia-Pacific region. The airline currently operates on the hub-and-spoke route network with North American hubs in Cleveland, Houston, and Newark, and a west Pacific hub in Guam.
